Laneway

Or alley? There are a lot of these in Windsor. Laneways that divide the city blocks, so houses back on to these now mostly overgrown roads. I imagine they used to be used for trash pick up, perhaps for deliveries of milk or ice or coal? Maybe even with horse drawn wagons?
